This photo tells many stories, as a view to
the magnified version reveals: There is the
couple in front of the arcades, another
couple on the second floor and - best of all
- that guy peeking round the corner.
What is he doing there? Was he placed there
intentionally? Or was it a joke? Is he a
relative of any of the other persons in this
photo?
We will probably never know.

The corner shop appears to be a liquor / wine
seller.
The uniformed gent has something in his
right hand- a weapon?
Is he a guard worried about a potential
robbery?
